Throwing big is a challenge, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Students will learn how to manipulate large amounts of clay on the pottery wheel, developing their skills in centering, opening up the clay, and pulling up the walls. With these skills, students will learn to create pots and vessels that are not only impressive in size, but also beautifully proportioned and well-balanced.
