Open Studio Time Slots Available During Non-Class Hours

We know that once you start creating pottery, it can be difficult to resist the urge to keep going. That's why we're pleased to offer Open Studio time slots at the Donn Zver School of Pottery scheduled throughout the week during non-class hours.

1. The offer is only available to students who are registered in a class.

2. Open studio means that there is no educator present; students are on their own to create and work.

3. The studio is not open until 9:30 am; please do not arrive early, as classroom cleaning may be in progress.

4. Sign into the OPEN STUDIO log when you arrive. Each open studio session is considered 3 hours. If you stay longer than 3 hours, you are required to use a second session.

5. Sign into the Open Studio Book when you arrive.

6. Please begin to clean up 15 minutes before completion of your session, ensure items are put back into their proper place, and prepare to leave on time.

7. Please be courteous to the next potter using the space, and leave the workspace clean.

8. If you have work to be fired, make sure it is placed on the appropriate shelf (Bisque vs Glaze)

9. Any work without your name/initails or class symbol will not be fired.

10. The School of Pottery is not responsible for lost or broken pieces that you make.

11. Please check the whiteboard for schedule exceptions due to workshops or private parties.

12. The Open Studio Log is located on the desk at the front of the School.

13. Those who are purchasing a 10 Session Pass must fill out an individual page in the Open Studio Log. With your name, Date, Time in and Time out. Mark down your session number out of 10.

14. Single sessions do not have to complete a form, just sign in and out.
